Answer Me This

Where do'est thou keep thy dreams?
Up in the sky or behind that star o'er yonder,
On this dusty ground nor buildings stood I'd wander,
Thus I found memories old and faded,
Known love to be so jaded,
Where do'est thou keep thy faith?
In the darkness the miners pot ?
In your pocket - would it hold a lot?
Whilst you answer the ones lied about?
Or run from those laughing at you,
A love lost once wrapped inside a clue,
Where is it that your strength lies ?
    From within the flickering flame?
Or from whence your mother you came,
Would the ones yet listen here?
The small child knows not fear,
Chasing the hands of time,
Would you stand strong against the tide ?
Or tie your mind with wire an twine,
Thus shadow the weakened mind, trying to run trying to hide ?
Would you answer me still not knowing?
